- You crack an egg and half of it is already partially cooked.
- You have a container from America that has a sticker that continuously says HOT. That sticker was intended to indicate that it is hot only when heated in a microwave.
- You put butter in a pan and it melts immediately—yet the burner not lit.
- The thermometer inside says 104.
- The thermometer outside in the shade says 117.
- Alissa says she is hot (everyone that knows me knows that I am always cold)—definitely not cold here.

I can't believe you are hot! That's the first time I have ever heard you say that. Listening to your descriptons makes me happy that I had to have the heater on in my office today.
Haleeza! Your mom told me I should comment on your site so that you would know we are following you here in Roslyn. By the way, it is a little chilly here today with some wind and not much sun, so try to think of that in all that heat.
I hope you will share your adventure with us at the Roslyn Library when you get home -- after you get re-acclimated. You have certainly experienced a lot of things that most of us will never experience. You go girl!
So, the library has all sorts of lectures/presentations/etc. that we host. We have a digital projector that hooks up to your laptop and a big screen. I hope we can "book" you when you return so you can share your stories with us.

Roslyn Public Library
Ok that is a bit too warm even for me!! Its hard to believe your adventure is coming to a close, but we will all be very glad to have you back home.
