Day trip to Diffa

Today I traveled to Diffa, a larger town east of where I am living, since it was their weekly market day. We were planning on visiting a nearby village on the way back but we saw the chief at the market so we decided to go to his village a different day. We didn’t see the chief until we were already loaded into local transport for the return trip. What a dilemma we created when we informed the conductor that our plans changed and we needed to get on a different bush taxi.

I think this truck I spotted on the trip had room for a few more bags.
