Back in America

Last night I slept in my own house after 20 hours of flights and a couple of days of bus travel across Niger. I enjoyed a warm welcome from my family at the airport and fabulous long hot shower. I don’t think the people sitting next to me on the plane were very happy with their seat assignments since I coughed and blew my nose the entire trip. Still waiting for my ears to pop. This morning my body was shivering when I woke up in a house that was 62 degrees (big adjustment from 117). I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of the brownies and the bagel smothered with cream cheese that I ate for breakfast.
