Today marks the 31st day that there has been no power (umeme) on the island. The new date being reported for the return of electricity is February 22nd.
31 days is forever without power, it seems as if the people there handle it much better than anyone would here in the states. Everything about our living revolves around power, life would come to a halt. Love you and miss you bunches
