One girl’s trash is a village kid’s treasure

This is part of my daily routine. The children come to my door each day chanting chitini chitini chitini. They are wanting any boxes, tins, toilet paper tubes or bottles that are in my trash. Today, Falina was the proud recipient of my empty powdered milk box.

Sorry, there is no update from the baby’s family. I went to visit them and Anganga was away at her field and Mama had went to her husband’s village. They had the funeral while I was away. I hope to be able to sit with them soon. Yesterday, another infant died in chanika.
