Heating up

It is finally heating up here. I actually think it is quite nice. It is probably in the 90s and cools off some at night. Only problem I have encountered is that the refrigerator does not like the heat and no longer keeps anything cold. If I keep a fan pointed at the back of the fridge for part of the day I can keep a couple of things semi cool in the freezer portion of the dorm size fridge. I had to take the meat that I just bought when I was in the city to one of the family's homes that has a fridge, but since it thawed out I need to use it all within the couple of days. I have not had much meat lately but I feel like I have indulged on it for breakfast, lunch and dinner the last couple of days. Feast or famine.

I just went outside to give the guard tea and biscuits before I go to bed. There have been two men staying in the guard’s house while they are working on building a carport for Janet’s truck while she is in America. I think the main reason for the carport is to protect her truck from the rocks that kids throw at the mango trees in attempt to get the mangos. Anyhow, tonight I found these men sleeping on a mat in the front yard trying to escape the heat. I really should not call it a front yard but just some dirt tthat is next to the road. I will have to try and get a photo tomorrow of where they were sleeping.
