Recuperating

Today I spent most of the day resting and trying to recuperate from my cold in attempt to enter into the remainder of the week with zest. I watched a few grammar DVDs that other team members had made and reviewed language learning from the previous day.

When I attempted to sleep, all the kids showed up on the porch hollering Aleeza, Aleeza, Aleeza outside the door. I think I probably scared them when I finally gave in and went out to be with them for a few minutes. My eyes were watering so bad it looked like I was crying as I continuously sneezed and blew my nose. Many of them look like they too have chronic runny noses.

This is my new buddy. Janet got him a couple of days ago to try and kill some of the rats around the place. Not sure that he is much of a hunter yet. I put him directly in front of a spider looking creature that was scurrying around and he just turned his back. He is a very talkative little fellow.
